Mangroves on the way to the Everglades
About Collier-Seminole State Park
Collier-Seminole State Park lies on the Tamiami Trail East, about 17 miles south-east of Naples, where tropical hammock, pine flatwoods and a mangrove wilderness meet. It has a campground, a boat ramp and paddling routes into the mangroves, and it opens from 8 am to sunset every day, with an entry fee per vehicle. Some features are closed for now, including the Blockhouse and the Royal Palm Hammock Nature Trail, and mosquitoes can be fierce, so check the state parks website and bring repellent.
