About Naples Pier
The Naples Pier was first built in 1888, when the town was little more than a winter resort reached by boat, and it has been rebuilt several times after hurricanes, most recently after Hurricane Ian in 2022. Walking out over the Gulf at sunset, with pelicans on the rails and dolphins often passing, is the classic Naples ritual. Check with the City of Naples for current access.
