About Bistro 821
Bistro 821 opened on Fifth Avenue South in 1994 and has stayed a fixture of the street ever since. Executive chef Jess S. Housman cooks a wide range of inventive mains that fuse Asian, European and American flavours, served in a room of casual elegance with a good wine list. It opens for dinner from 5 pm and is closed on Mondays, with a happy hour at the bar early in the evening. Reservations are recommended in season.
