About Freedom Park

Fred W. Coyle Freedom Park is a Collier County park just east of the junction of Golden Gate Parkway and Goodlette-Frank Road, beside the Coastland Center. A boardwalk of about 3,500 feet crosses the wetland on the eastern side of the park, while trails punctuated by six lookout pavilions wind round the lakes on the western side, with good views of wading birds and turtles. It opens daily from 8 am to dusk. It is an easy hour outdoors close to downtown, and it connects naturally with the Gordon River Greenway.
