SpaTerre is the spa of LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, on Gulf Shore Drive at the quiet northern end of Vanderbilt Beach. Its menu covers massages, facials, body treatments, nail services and ritual-style treatments, with couples’ rooms, and some treatment rooms have private balconies. It pairs well with lunch or a sunset dinner at Baleen, the resort’s restaurant on the beach. Book treatments in advance through the resort, especially in the winter season and at weekends.
