About The Naples Players

The Naples Players were founded in January 1953 and staged their first play, I Remember Mama, that March, in a building that is now Gulfview Middle School. Since 1998 the company has had its own home, the Sugden Community Theatre on Fifth Avenue South, named after Herbert and Peg Sugden, whose gift helped build it. A season of plays and musicals runs through the year, and the theatre’s position in the middle of Fifth Avenue South makes it easy to pair a show with dinner on the avenue. Check the website for the current programme.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with The Naples Players before you go.
